University of Maryland Online Courses – Tuition and Financial Aid

Tuition for University of Maryland Online Courses can vary according to degree program selected however for most programs undergraduate tuition is $230 per credit hour for Maryland residents and military personnel and $499 per credit hour for non-residents. About Norwich University Online

The online degree programs at Norwich University Online are aimed towards graduate students and will provide you with a quality Master degree upon graduation. Most of the programs can be completed within 18 to 24 months, depending on when you begin. These programs are seminar, and not research based, so students will spend the majority of their time studying for tests and attending virtual online classes rather than writing a thesis.

The online program for all of the courses is broken down into 6, six-week seminars followed by a one-week residency on the Vermont campus. Each seminar lasts about 11 weeks, and each semester has two seminars. The one-week residency includes a graduation ceremony at the end, so that you can receive your cap and gown and meet your classmates.

The week-long residency is the cumulative experience of the students’ past six seminars. It is a time to meet fellow classmates and instructors, engage in debates and present papers. Norwich University will provide travel reimbursement for students upon completion of their residency and graduation (Travel reimbursement? I’m impressed). Families are welcome to join in some of the activities and attend the graduation ceremony.
