Indiana Tech Online Review - About Indiana Tech

Indiana Tech was founded in 1930 as a school for engineering and science. The State of Indiana incorporated the school in 1931 as Indiana Technical College. Today, its official name is Indiana Institute of Technology and provides degree programs in business, criminal science, engineering and computer studies. The first year there were only eight students and tuition was just $55. The school quickly grew offering a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical, structural, civil, or radio engineering. Fairly new to distance learning, Indiana Tech began offering programs online in 2007.

In January 2009, Indiana Tech redesigned its online program to make it even faster for students to earn a degree. Much like its campus programs, students can complete undergraduate courses in just 5 weeks and graduate courses in 6 weeks.
