Kent State University is located in Kent, Ohio, about 40 miles south of Cleveland. It currently has about 34,000 students across eight campuses. It is a traditional public research university, and its seven regional campuses serve the whole of Northeast Ohio. RN to BSN Nursing Program:
Kent State University Nursing Program offers an online RN to BSN course to graduates of Associate Degree and Diploma nursing programs to improve their skills with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. All courses are web based and can fit around the typically busy schedules of a registered nurse. Many registered nurses will not see the point of obtaining a Bachelors degree when they are already qualified to practice. However, earning a BSN can still be advantageous to nurses who are already practicing.

One advantage of the BSN degree is that it provides an opportunity for specialized career training. A Bachelor’s degree can also prepare you for a career in administration and management.
